Heya Hung, when you plug an already scanned drive back in you should get a re-scan dialogue pop up window, which gives you the option to rescan as a quick scan or a full scan. Do you see this dialogue window when plugging your drive back in?

Its worth mentioning that you need to scroll down to see the "Full Update" option which would include offline previews / metadata etc
