Heya Darryl, thanks for sending over! Firstly, we released V1.2.1 last night which made some minor tweaks to scanning, so worth updating first - I can see you're on the previous version still. This is very strange though - on 500gb, it should be able to scan this in a couple of minutes. It sounds like it is getting stuck on a certain file, does it get stuck in the same place?

Can you please go to "Manage Library" and click "Clean Up" then click "Scan For Issues", if you've performed the scan a couple of times then you may have created a few files that are confusing the scan logic. It will show you if there are any orphaned files which you can delete.

If that doesn't fix it, then please click "Reset Library" in "Manage Library" to start from fresh and try to scan your drive again.

I would love to know what kind of files are on your drive, it may be that it is a type of file in particular that is tripping up the scan that we can build into the scan logic for DV to handle better next time.
