so far, the app as crashed every single time trying to scan my first disk (ssd, 2 & 4tb) using both full and quick scan options.

Thanks for reporting this - this was a persistent issue for users with large drives or with hundreds of thousands of files. We've now introduced a much smarter and more efficient scanning logic for large drive scans which auto-partitions in the background and turns MONSTER libraries into manageable chunks so that DriveVault doesn't get overwhelmed. Have a go scanning these drives again now in the latest version (1.13) - it should be up and running!

Frasethanks for the feedback. following the update, i was able to add two harddrives. however, now the app freezes when adding another 4tb ssd. using the quick scan, it will immediately mark 5000 out of 30000 files as scanned, but will stop working afterwards.
